I have both faces carved. I added more details to each face. All I need to do is try to even them out so they sit together better.
Mrs. Gelsinger told me about a tool to help me carve my stones. I decided to change my idea. I am doing the faces but each side will be a different rock.
This week I made a web for twisted and broken. I got 10 sketches done for the twisted and broken topic. I decided that I was going to make it out of soapstone. My idea was a face but on the other side he was someone else.
I had to change the top of his head because I had to make an armature so his head was rounded not flat. I am proud that I still have my clay skills from last year. I managed to color in the letters of the lighter without over coloring. I had trouble trying to get his left arm to stay so I scored and slipped it back on.
I got my tree done I,m just waiting for it to dry. after it drys I will paint it burnt ember and the lighter deep green.
One time at a family camp over my cousin had a huge blown up balloon. The balloon landed in a patch of sticks and when he went to pick up his balloon it popped. The pop blew him back and he fell flat on his back.
These are things in my creative bank: Video games, TV, Animes, and comic books
I look forward to this semester because I want to be able to use clay again like I did last year.
