How do you feel about your work this week? What parts do you like? Dislike? Why?
This week was a game of catch up for me since I still had to color my cube and then had to redo my little slabs since they weren't the right size. I like the new way the slabs look now so maybe it was for the better that I had to redo them. What did you learn about yourself/ your habits as you worked last week/ this piece? This week I learned that if I have to finish something in time I will work for it until it is done. My piece show that I work until it is done well enough.

This week I didn't get much work done. I only got two things done, the notes and the little slabs. I dislike how long it took me to get the chapter notes done. What did you learn about yourself/ your habits as you worked last week/ this piece? I learned that if I don't feel comfortable doing something I push it off until I want to do it. I wanted to do the notes first so that I have information on how to fix or properly do certain things in the clay first. How do you feel about your work this week? What parts do you like? Dislike? Why?
This week my work was mediocre because when I made my cube I needed to remake 3 of the sides. My favorite parts were using the 45 degree tool and relearning how to make a slab. What did you learn about yourself/ your habits as you worked last week/ this piece? This week I learned that even when I'm behind I can catch up fast. Last week I didn't get to finish bootcamp 3 because I still need to make the curve bowl and make a lid for the cube. What ways last week did you get better at this kind of work?
Last week i had to go back and remake my Coil Pot since I did not include any fancy coils. When I went to do the layers of fancy coils I had one jump up and down, on top of that I took a coil and split into 3 pieces and laid them on top of the Jumping coil. What problems did you encounter last week/ with this piece? How did you solve them? Last week when I went to take a picture of the coil pot I was told to redo the whole pot and add fancy coils and polish the piece more. I made three layers fancy with one coil that went up,down,up,down then two layers of a coil that was split into three pieces then laid overlapping each other. 1.Did you complete your work in the same manner as those around you? How were you different?
1.My work I did last week was not the same as the others around me. I am behind on bootcamp 2 others have coils but I have not been able to use the coil making tool. 2.If someone else were looking at this weeks work, what might they learn about who you are? 2.If someone else were to look at my work I did last week they would probably think that I was either lazy or just slow to start working. This week I would change the way i'm doing the pinch pots because I can't make them correctly all the same size. Next week I might have to try and learn how to keep the pinch pots all the same size and shape.
In the pat I have developed my craft from when I signed up for Sculpture 1 and 2 to grow my learning with how to use and mold clay.
This semester I look forward to doing the Aesthetic scanning, because I like the way the clay and art bends in looks different than normal pieces of pottery.
Two of my strengths are that I work well in groups and I get my work done. Two things I would like to work on is managing my time better to get projects done faster and easier. My second problem is I need to ask more questions .
